THE NEW ODD COUPLE
When TBS acquired Cougar Town from ABC there were a few things the network was worried about. For one, they wanted viewers to be clear that TBS would have NEW episodes of the show, not reruns. Additionally, there was wide consensus that the name was confusing and viewers didn’t inherently understand what a show called Cougar Town was all about.
